News for 2020

Congratulations to Angela!

Our small animal receptionist Angela has recently qualified as a C-SQP and so is able to advise and dispense certain medications for companion animals.  The SQP exams are not easy and take numerous hours of study so very well done Angela!

Due to Covid 19 we are still following social distancing protocols at the practice.  We are still currently not allowing clients access into the practice and have a purpose built shelter outside to enable communications to take place safely.  For small animal appointments the vet will discuss pets with their owners outside before taking them inside the practice for examination with a nurse assisting.

For all appointments for small animal, farm animal and equine please follow the instruction of the vet or nurse and observe social distancing at all times.  This is to ensure the safety of our vets and staff as well as our clients.

Our duty vets are available 24/7 for emergencies only – if you require emergency veterinary assistance for your horse please contact the relevant department.

Thank you.

Horse Microchipping Law

As of 1st October 2020 all horses, ponies and donkeys will be required by law to be microchipped.  We are currently running an offer where microchipping is at a special reduced rate of £25.00 (normal price £35.00).

To save an additional visit fee we advise you have microchipping carried out at a routine visit such as for vaccinations or dentals.
