Farm Animals
We have the expertise!

|
We have a long pedigree in agriculture, with Derbyshire long being a prominent dairy cow area in the UK. |
Each parish boasts a large number of farms, each keeping dairy cows, rearing calves and beef animals, maybe a pig or two and perhaps a few sheep. In the hillier areas sheep farms have always been the mainstay, with some suckler cow herds.
Despite the changes in farm practice, we still have a strong base of agricultural clients, and a wealth of farm animal expertise within the practice. New avenues are developing all the time, such as organic farming and milking sheep and goats. |

As a practice we are committed to our farmers, and intend to continue to offer the best of veterinary advice and treatment that we can. As agriculture changes direction, so we change with it.
We also keep up with modern trends, one of which is the increase in exotic pets such as llamas and alpacas. Again, we keep abreast of these developments, and can offer medical care, health advice, and pregnancy scanning for these species. |
SERVICE - We operate a no compromise policy on our service standards. We always try to accommodate our client’s veterinary needs whether they are emergencies, routine work, consultancy work or our freely available telephone advice VALUE. We try to keep a very simple and transparent price structure. We supply medicines 24/7 many of which are at keen net prices. There is no visit charge for routine pre-arranged work which is charged for on a time basis. Clients consistently tell us that the veterinary services and medicines we provide are better value that their previous supplier |
